Key Requirements (Must-Haves)
Transportation: Must drive and have your own reliable personal vehicle for daily commuting.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience, including previous experience in a cross-dock environment.
Certification: Valid, current Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift license.
Your Daily Tasks
Cross-Dock Distribution: Move freight immediately between inbound and outbound trailers to speed up delivery timelines.
LTL Trailer Loading: Strategically organize and load LTL freight into trailers so the weight is properly balanced for transport.
Solo Management: Take total ownership of the dock floor and keep operations running smoothly with minimal supervision.
Safety & Speed: Maintain top-tier safety and efficiency standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities
Safely operate a Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift to move LTL freight across the dock.
Load and unload various types of trailers, ensuring weight distribution is balanced.
Work independently to prioritize shipments based on departure times.
Scan and track freight using handheld devices to maintain 100% inventory accuracy.
Identify and report any damaged goods before they are loaded for transport.
Maintain a clean and organized dock floor to ensure a safe transition for the morning crew
Qualifications
Valid Forklift Ticket/Certification (Required).
Must be available for afternoon training before moving to the regular night shift.
1–2 years of experience operating a Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift.
Previous experience with LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight is a major asset.
Must have CSA-approved steel-toed boots and high-visibility gear.
